Officially married...feels so good!

"Who can find a virtous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies. Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life "
            PROVERBS 31:10-11

"......I am so happy to be married!!..... Sealing our covenant under God was so spiritually RICH!!

A funny side note to start of this blog....... My maid of Honor, Nicole and I were sharing a bed in my bridal suite while my bridesmaids slept throughout the rest of the house and I woke up in the middle of the night because I heard a sound, I shuffled my feet on the shag carpet through the house at the other end and grabbed my dress because I was afraid I heard someone outside and didn't want anyone to 'steal my dress' so I carried it into my room just so that I could get a few more hours of sleep. HA! I kept waking up Nicole and she was like..." WHAT ARE YOU DOING????"

I woke up at 5 A.M to the pouring sound of rain! I knew inevitably that an outside wedding reception was not going to happen as planned.....and as the wedding day approached closer and closer it was my worst nightmare to think of it raining!.... but as I looked outside the window all I could think was "wow, today is the day....IM GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I woke up very early and danced around the house singing "I'm getting married! I'm getting married!" and woke everyone up to start prepping! I was so filled with joy and in that moment I wanted it to just... last forever. Everyone was so happy for me and so eager to get this wedding started!. It was a wonderful morning of getting ready and having our photographers shoot thousands of pictures of us all doing each others' hair and make up :)

"The heartfelt counsel of a friend is as sweet as perfume and incense."
                                   Proverbs 27:9

I gathered my girls to join hands in a circle and give thanks to Jesus.. I began to pray out loud and give praise to God for hand choosing each person in my life to be with me on this special day who love and support me and tears started to pour from my eyes when I gave him praise for making the entire wedding come together, I can't put into words all the miracles I had personally witnessed God do for me to make this day so very special and everything I had hoped for. It touched me to be standing there joined with 7 of my amazing friends getting ready to experience the most perfect day of my entire life.

As we arrived at the church, seeing everyone seated and the bridal party getting ready to walk down the aisle made everything feel so absolutely surreal... I hadn't been able to eat for two days and I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I began to pray and thank God for carrying me through and bringing me to this day and just expressed to Him how thankful I am for such a patient and loving man that was about to be my husband.. When I stepped into the room and began to walk down the aisle, I locked eyes with Xavier and he had tears pouring down his face, it was the moment I had been waiting for and I cannot even describe what it felt like to see him wipe his tears and say..."WoW.." I knew he would love my sparkly dress and he looked so handsome in his suit.... I couldn't stop tearing up because I was just, so unbelievably...HAPPY.

No one would ever guess, but I have terrible stage fright and I was so nervous standing in front of our friends and family, the blazing hot lights were shining on us, made us both sweat!! All I could think was...lets get to the point where you announce me his bride and we can kiss and make a run for it! ha! But of course it was not a quick ceremony and I was so excited to say my vows to xavier...

Faithfully standing by xavier's side with strong persistance, was the best thing I have ever done... Even when he wasn't ready to love me at first, I loved him with a passion and was willing to wait as long as he needed  to realize that he truly loved me too. Together we have had an amazing four years together, starting out as friends which grew into true love over time.... Our love has surely seen it's mountains and sunshine after the rain..

Xavier you are my best friend and now my husband...I am so blessed and thankful for you...
